South African Wedding in Villa Pozzolo, Tuscany | Italy

The story featured at Rangefinder

When you come to to Tuscany from South Africa to get married in an old chapel among cypresses and pines, the sun rewards you twice.

Karmen and Nick brought their beloved ones from South Africa to the most idyllic and inspiring villa you can find in Tuscan countryside not far from Florence. The villa is led by beautiful warmest family that served to us traditional Italian cuisine.

The setting of property was straight off a postcard with stunning hills and vineyards surrounding from every direction.

I loved photographing all wedding details among these frescoes and historical heritage.

The Bride who was working in wedding industry by herself organised this wedding with wonderful taste. Her not white dress was created by Cape Town designer with shades of purple, pink and nude with scattered flowers and a dreamy train. Guests were wearing white.

It was truly  one of the most intimate and romantic weddings I have ever photographed.

Karmen and Nick cried a ton of tears having First Look in the backyard. Then during the ceremony no one expected Nick to kneel down and propose to Karmen for the second time with another ring. Even officiant was crying.

Then for the rest of day guest were drinking prosecco, eating great Italian food, the best homemade tiramisu, while behind the table rabbits jumped and butterflies flew.
