Postcards from Polignano a Mare in Apulia | Italy

Polignano a Mare is one of Puglia’s most picturesque seaside towns and one my most enchanting discoveries of Italy. For all of you who wish to find unique locations for your landscape photography or those who search for amazing mediterranean venues for an elopement or destination wedding this is the place of your travel dreams. It will enchant you by the architecture with its Arab, Byzantine, Spanish and Norman remains positioned on cliffs pitted with caves. Adriatic coast on this South edges of Italy offers crystal waters and it is definitely one of Puglia's most beautiful coastal stretches.

I invite you for this short photo walk to Polignano a Mare which we visited just after Christmas for the New Year's Eve winter period. It allowed as to explore it without meeting hordes of tourists everywhere. We found on our way secret hidden Trulli (typical Apulian conical stone huts) and caves in dramatic shores. It is really worthy to leave the beaten trails and have some trekking out of town. I am so happy that we come back to Apulia this summer!
